4.3 Earthquake Felt in Puget Sound

A seismic event measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted Poulsbo, Washington, on Sunday evening, causing tremors throughout the region as reported by the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. The earthquake struck precisely at 7:21 p.m. local time, originating from a depth of 57.2 km.
Numerous individuals across the Puget Sound area reported feeling the quake, highlighting its significant reach. Despite this, the ShakeAlert and WEA systems, designed to issue public warnings during seismic events, did not activate due to the earthquake's relatively moderate magnitude.
