Seattle Kraken

The Seattle Kraken is a professional ice hockey team based in Seattle, Washington. They joined the National Hockey League (NHL) as an expansion team in 2021 and played their inaugural season in 2021-2022. The Kraken play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference and their home games are played at Climate Pledge Arena.
The team is owned by Seattle Hockey Partners, which is led by billionaire David Bonderman and Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The Kraken's general manager is Ron Francis, a former NHL player and executive, and their head coach is Dave Hakstol.
The Kraken's name and logo were unveiled in July 2020, and they quickly became popular among fans for their unique branding and design. The team's name is a nod to the mythological sea creature, the kraken, which is said to inhabit the waters of the Pacific Northwest.
Despite being a new team, the Kraken has already made an impact in the NHL, both on and off the ice. They have a passionate fan base and have sold out every home game so far. The team has also been active in the community, partnering with local organizations to promote youth hockey and other charitable causes.
