Seattle Mariners

The Seattle Mariners are a professional baseball team based in Seattle, Washington. They compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) West division. The team was founded in 1977 and has yet to win a World Series championship, but has won three AL West division titles and has made four postseason appearances.
The Mariners have had many successful players throughout their history, including Edgar Martinez, Ken Griffey Jr., Ichiro Suzuki, and Felix Hernandez. In recent years, the team has been known for its strong pitching staff, with standout players such as James Paxton and Marco Gonzales.
The Mariners play their home games at T-Mobile Park, which has been their home field since 1999. The stadium is known for its retractable roof and its location near the waterfront in downtown Seattle.
Despite not winning a World Series championship, the Mariners have a dedicated fan base and are a beloved sports team in Seattle. With the two-decade playoff drought ending this past 2022-2023 season, the future of the Mariners is bright with stars like Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh, and so many amazing others!
